An Autumn Visit
We appreciated every attention to detail from the care packages, comfy furniture, well equipped kitchen and cosy fireplace to the beautiful artworks. The whole space was spotlessly clean and functional. Visiting in Autumn was an added bonus as the view from the balcony was breathtaking. After cycling, walking and exploring, Eliza’s was a haven to return to. Thank you for a memorable holiday!

Comfort
Very peaceful place with a lovely verandah to relax on. Lovely big bath, bed was amazingly comfortable. So close to the town centre and right on the rail trail.

I could go on forever
Absolutely wonderful place to stay. Brand new and complete with everything you can think of – hamper of local goodies, gorgeous bathroom amenities, lavender oil and bath salts for the bath, fully stocked kitchen, lovely books to read… I could go on forever. It is a very short walk to town in an excellent location. You must stay here, we already want to go back!

It's not all about the inside
Beautiful accomodation, location can’t be beat. Short stroll to everything in town. Thoughtful and considerate amenities and little touches to make you feel welcome. Loved the large covered balcony/deck where we relaxed and enjoyed most of our time.

Nothing Compares
Eliza’s is high end, luxurious accomodation with a welcoming vibe (and gift box) that makes you feel right at home from the moment you step through the door. The furnishings are absolutely beautiful and oh, so comfortable, the kitchen is perfectly appointed with everything you could possibly need for a night in, and the bathroom has a wonderful rain shower and deluxe size bathtub.
Each morning we enjoyed having our coffees on the large balcony, watching the birds in the trees and soaking in the lovely view and morning sun. The rail trail is on your doorstep and the town centre is just a few minutes walk.
We’ve stayed in various places in Bright over the past few years but nothing compares to Eliza’s.

Eliza's Story
Everything was perfect for our stay including the weather which meant lots of lounging on the verandah taking in the beautiful views. Look forward to coming back when the seasons change and enjoying the fireplace and the cosy surroundings inside. Thanks again -everything was thought of for our stay and it was great to read-up on the history of Eliza.

Couldn't have said it better
I would thoroughly recommend staying at Eliza’s. It was warm, welcoming and felt like a home away from home. It is always the little things that stand out: a lovely little hamper and bottle of wine left on the kitchen bench, a well stocked woodpile for the fire place, hot water bottles, if the electric blankets don’t float your boat, a throw for snuggling into, big fluffy white towels, bath salts and supplied toiletries. The interior of the cottage is beautifully and tastefully put together. The kitchen is wonderfully equipt with Smeg applicances, a full oven, hotplates and draws full of lovely crockery, cuttlery, pots and pans. There is also a dryer and washing machine.
Sitting on the verandah in the evening, before a short stroll into town for dinner, was a perfect way to unwind after a day of either bike riding or bush walking. What better way to unwind at the end of the day, than to sit peacefully, with a glass of wine in hand admiring a stunning view from an elevated verandah, across to the valley to the mountains, with the old Bright railway station in the foreground.
So, would I choose to stay at Eliza’s again – the answer that is a resounding yes and suggest you do too.

Lovely Oasis
Absolute perfection! This place has all the luxury touches, while still feeling cozy and relaxed. We loved the fully equipped kitchen, huge bath and reading books by the fire! Thanks for creating a lovely oasis, we will definitely be back!

Connection and history
What a very special place!! When we walked through the door after a very long day we were thriglled, instantly calm and relaxed. WE have had a wonderful few dates and agree whole heartedly with the previous comments so eloquently expressed by those who have been here before us.
