Let’s start in the kitchen. Here you will find the essentials like cutlery, crockery, saucepans, good quality kitchen knives, wine glasses (and the cutest bar area), oven dishes, a teapot or two, a microwave, and many serving plates and bowls. A Bosch electric cooktop and a full oven will give you the ultimate cooking experience. Smeg appliances – coffee machine (coffee provided), kettle, toaster, and fridge – bring style and quality.
The pantry is equipped with everyday supplies to get you started – tea bags and tea leaves, salt and pepper, oil, herbs and sauces, and ground coffee. A Bosch washing machine and separate dryer can be found behind the cupboard doors in the island bench. Moving through the house (but first, take a sneak peek at your hamper full of local products and wine) into the living area, where you will find all the comforts, including a wood fire with a well-stocked woodpile, reverse cycle heating and cooling, luxurious furnishings, large TV, Chromecast, Wi-Fi throughout, books, and a Bang and Olufsen Bluetooth speaker.
Bespoke furnishings in the bedroom include a king-size bed with luxurious bedding with a selection of pillows, bedside tables and wardrobes for storage, plus reverse cycle heating and cooling. If the electric blankets aren’t your style, hot water bottles might be, or a snuggle into the plush throw.
The bathroom is spacious and luxurious, offering big fluffy white towels, bath salts, toiletries, heating, a Dyson hairdryer for the most perfect blow wave, and slippers. A rain shower will wash away the activities of the day, or for a lingering soak, the bath will be just the spot.
Out on the deck, you will find a Weber BBQ and even more luxurious furnishings where you can sit peacefully on the elevated verandah with a glass of wine in hand and admire the stunning view over the old Bright railway station across the valley all the way to the mountains.

Adventurers are well catered for with plenty of walking and hiking trails, mountain bike tracks to rival some of the best in Australia, and the opportunity to view the beauty of the area from above on a paragliding flight. In winter, Bright is an ideal spot from which to explore Victoria’s premier ski resorts. Situated central to both Mt Hotham and Falls Creek, you can explore both mountains easily for days of snowboarding and skiing.
Bright is the ultimate foodie destination. With multiple top restaurants, bars, wineries, craft breweries and country pubs, there are options for every kind of palate.
